This is a private reference site, not a government records desk. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, schedule visits, pull official booking records, or change a court record. Contact the record-holding government office for official action.

Where to Look First
The right office depends on the record type. Suffolk County does not publish an official public SCSD roster in the reviewed sources, so current custody starts with records staff.
- For someone in the county jail, start with jail inmate records and call the correct SCSD Records Division number.
- For booking photos, use jail roster mugshots and the public-records route if a photo is needed.
- For charges filed after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest, MassCourts, and the court clerk.
- For a specific facility, use the facility pages in the footer for address, phone, visitation, mail, and money details.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use Mass.gov, MADOC, and Massachusetts VINE / VINELink.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the BOP inmate locator, ICE detainee locator, federal court, or U.S. Marshals route.
